Guide to roadside oddities and other weird, strange and unusual attractions in Arizona.
There's lots of cool Arizona tourist attractions to see!
Check out the Eagles-oriented corner in Winslow Arizona.
Grab a bite to eat at the old Route 66 Snow Cap.
Hop on board the Jack Rabbit for a roadside oddities picture opp or take a horseback ride down the streets of a real old Wild West town.
Route 66, with all its roadside attractions, went through Arizona. And in the days of the Wild Old West, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday and the O.K. Corral made Tombstone famous.

Back in the Route 66 days the Jack Rabbit Trading Post had an advertising campaign like the famous Wall Drug in South Dakota, only on a bit smaller scale.
Though they didn't have a sign at the South Pole advertising free ice water, their signage worked and this became a lasting Arizona tourist attraction.
Yep, this Route 66 tourist trap is still open!
Route 66 travelers were besieged with billboards showing a silhouetted rabbit. When they finally got to the Jack Rabbit Trading Post the sign simply said "Here it is!"
And it is still "here".
Be sure and try the Jack Rabbit Cherry Cider.
The Jack Rabbit Trading Post is off I-40, Joseph City, Arizona. Exit 269, Jack Rabbit Road.
- You can't miss this hamburger and malt place on Route 66. You just CAN'T!!!
You'll never forgive yourself if you pass up this Arizona tourist attraciton.
Along Route 66 many of the roadside oddities and enterprises are no longer there. Progress - the freeway - came along and bypassed many of the kitschy tourist traps that were such popular stops. A lot of them had to close down.
Not Delgadillo's Snow Cap.
They are still going strong.

It was started in 1953 and keeps the same traditions alive as when Route 66 was THE road, with practical jokes served with the dead chicken.
The first time you try to get in, I bet you choose a wrong door knob...
And when you order a small Coke? Well, let's just say the laughter continues.
Oh, yeah, and watch out for the mustard bottle.
Directions: Delgadillo's Snow Cap is just off I-40 on old Route 66 at the east end of Seligman, Arizona. Phone: (988) 422-3291
And while you're in Winslow Arizona be sure and go to the corner of Kinsley Avenue and Second Street. It's where The Standin' on the Corner Park is located.
