Alma - Weird Arkansas tourist attractions in Alma.
Alma’s roadside oddities tend to be Popeye oriented. Well, since it’s the Spinach Capitol of the World…
The water tank above town is painted green with Popeye on it. And there’s a Popeye statue in front of the city hall.
But here’s a weird tourist attraction in Alma, Arkansas that isn’t spinach oriented.
Bullet holes.
Yeah. Bullet holes.
Go see where Clyde and Buck Barrows (supposedly) shot up the Commercial Bank. It’s now the Alma Genealogical Library. Look for the bullet holes in the ceiling.
