Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast

Stay at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast.

Yes, THE Lizzie Borden of nursery rhyme fame -

Lizzie Borden took an axe and gave her mother forty whacks, etc etc.

You can even sleep in the room where she murdered her step-mother, Abby.

If you’re brave enough.

Then in the morning, have a breakfast that resembles what the Borden bunch would’ve eaten the morning of the murders.

Perhaps the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast is haunted.
So go on, be brave. Sleep in the room where a murder took place. It was long time ago. In 1892.

Are there still the bad vibes hanging around the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast? Well, maybe, but supposedly it is haunted.

So does a ghostly voice go around singing “Lizzie Borden took an axe…”???

The Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast is the actual house where the famous murders took place.

Doubtful. At least that’s not what people report. Mostly it’s the faint sounds of a woman crying.

Who’zzat????

Impressions of someone laying on a bed that was smooth just seconds before.

Huh???

Lots of orbs are photographed in and around the house. And as a note, flashes on cameras weird out every so once in a while.

More haunted happenings?

But by far the most interesting ghostly happening at the Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast is the Victorian lady cleaning the rooms and straightening the beds.

So if you see an elderly lady wearing Victorian clothes dusting the furniture, it might just be a ghost!

Take a saunter through the Oak Grove Graveyard to visit the Bordens. Lizzie, or Lizbeth on the gravestone, lives there along with the rest of the Borden bunch. They are inside the entrance of the cemetery, under four large oak trees.
