Southern California

Weird Tourist Attractions and Roadside Oddities

There’s lots of weird and unusual tourist attractions in Southern California!

A favorite of mine is the Oasis Camel Dairy.

It is the only camel dairy in the U.S. They make great smelling soaps out of camel milk!

For a breakfast that's a bit different, the ribs at the Lookout Roadhouse in Lake Elsinore is at the top of my list. Delicious melt-in-your-mouth oak-smoked ribs. For breakfast! Whooooeeee!!!

Spruce Street Suspension Bridge in San Diego. And hanging bridges ... When was the last time you walked across a swaying suspension bridge?

Or how about an old wooden one with trestles like a railroad bridge under it?

San Diego has both of these. And a lot of other neat attractions, too. Some weird, some not so weird. But all different!
